Just thought it'd like to slap myself in the face and show everyone what I look like now at my worst. I have had a good week until last 2 days...just problems and then having to stay unshaven for electrolysis Saturday. I didn't think I'd be bothered but honestly having some issues here gid wise. This is me 3 days unshaven.

This Is me a day before my third laser session on Wednesday.



No make up. Just boy mode. I think I skipped shaving as well.

So yea we all have moments when we are not glamorous just keep going and look forward to the moments when you are. In any journey there is gonna be hardships, but in order to get to your destination you got to fight thru them.

Hmm why grow it out before laser though? They make you shave anyway. I shave every day when needed and now like once a week. No reason not to, IMO.

I hated that. One reason I'm glad I'm doing laser now. My electrologist tells funny jokes and does a great job but the growing out 3 days prior was just UGH.

Hang in there babe when the hair is gone you will truly reveal the beautiful woman beneath.

Aya, got this to look forward too, but end result is the goal!

I'll be like you Shawn, as for me Electro is probably the way too, mines fair and grey hair 

Oh well the crosses we have to bear... Hey how many times? and are you being selective on areas or just go for all face, neck etc..

I shaved the next morning.

I do give my face a day or two off from shaving, because it causes my face to break out. And get razor burn. It doesn't matter how new my razor is or how I shave. So it's a skin health thing.

Plus I'm in boy mode at work since I'm not out there.

Shawn as bad as it feels to have all that hair grown out it will feel so much better when it's zapped away. I know how mentally tough that can becoming in but each time you have to do it you will have less left than the time before. Hugs and hang in there.

This sucks SO bad. I have this problem too and I dont understand it. Ingrown hairs too

I still go out like this fairly often. Until I have successful laser treatment, I need to roll with it, when makeup is just too much hassle ...

I'm going tomorrow for a few more hours of electrolysis so I've had to grow mine out for a couple of days.  One of the advantages of being old is most of it is grey.

Well this will actually be my second laser treatment

And my first electrolYsis. They offered to do both the same day and I agreed. $100 for both sessions total. I have a lot of white hairs on my chin and some on my cheeks

Oh gosh that is me a week after laser.

I hate that week. No matter how I try the shadow doesn't go away.

I can't afford either electrolysis or laser and the closest facility is too far away anyway - I'm not even sure how I'm going to get through each month anymore and there isn't much available as far as trans resources where I live

I rarely ever shave anymore since I started plucking, it lasts longer and helps with me cope with my angst and general disgust with this world

I don't know how anyone does that it would take me so long to get one side and the other side would have grown out. actually it seems impossible, it bad enough do eyebrows.

Plucking is painful and can cause ingrowns and other problems. It is also frustrating if you have a lot of hair.

I wouldn't do that if you plan on continuing the hair removal your doing. They count on things being a certain way and again ingrowns can happen from waxing just like plucking. Hugs

Correct, waxing your face would probably be a bad idea

Plucking is rather painful, but I'm in quite a bit of physical pain to begin with so the small pinch of the pluck really doesn't even come close to competing

There have been a few ingrown hairs now and then and those are annoying

I've actually become rather good at it and can usually clear my face in 10-20 minutes, plus I usually pluck a few here and there during the week

Anyway, everyone's different so plucking might not work out for some folks and if I can ever afford electro I'll most likely go for it
