I originally registered about a year ago, but barely posted. I went to activate my account again and it had been deleted for inactivity!  Publish or perish, as they say.

In any event, although I have been participating heavily in another forum for several years, I needed a break, and thought I would come back to Susan's again.

I am transsexual, in transition, and have been on hormones just short of three years.  I'm out at home and to select friends, as well as to HR at work.  My interests include trans related medicine (e.g., endocrinology, research), philosophy, religion – though somewhat narrowly and as it relates to cultural influence.

Welcome to Susan's :) Hopefully you will stick around longer this time :p. You said you are transitioning but what are you transitioning to. You didn't specify if you were mtf or ftm. (Sorry, I'm just curious you don't have to respond if you don't want to :3. I am mtf)

Hi Lea,
Welcome back to Susan's. I thought I recognized your username. I used to hang out there but I've been here a while.  Found this place more fun and much less combative. Glad you've come back.

Hugs!

Thanks all and nice too see you again, Traci!

Combative means different things to different people. I like good debate and I don't mind disagreement. Emotional flareups and ad-hominems, not so much. So as long as the focus is on the facts and the perspective, passion is a good thing. It is unfortunate, however, that most don't get their facts straight and don't understand logic. So much argumentation is so unnecessary.
