I guess this is kind of a PSA for the Transgender community, but it's really something I've been thinking about recently.
I'm still new to this whole transgender thing, but I do fancy myself a philosopher at times ("The Philosopher" is one of my Time Lord names lol). Early on in my journey of self exploration, I questioned myself in regards to feminine behavior, or what is (stereo)typically known as feminine behavior. Could someone live their lives as a cismale and freely, with no fear, act flamboyantly feminine? Abso-fu¢l<ing-lutely. Plenty of cisgender men are very feminine, yet they are exactly that, cisgender men. Would I feel comfortable acting as feminine as I feel I am in this make body? No. Do I need to transition in order to be who I am? No.
Do I want to?
I believe I do, yes. I want to live my life asa woman, because I feel that's who I truly am inside. I'm not even THAT feminine, I'm a kind of a nerdy tomboy, but I still identify as female.
So if you're doubting yourself, you're afraid you're not "feminine enough," just remember that it's not your personality that defines your gender, it's you. You define who you truly are, there's no test or quiz our there that can define who you are. They can help you gather your thoughts, but if you're searching for a definite answer, quit looking to the outside and start searching inside yourself.
Who do YOU identify as?
Who are you?
Only you can answer those questions, and only you can prevent forest fires.
