In it's first week approx. 70 people completed our survey of people BORN WITH CONGENITAL VARIATIONS IN SEX CHARACTERISTICS (Intersex/ hormonal, chromosomal or other biological variations/conditions):
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ausvariations

Some terms which your health provider might have used to describe these variations are: intersex, or variation whether hormonal, chromosomal, or otherwise biological (e.g. CAIS, Klinefelters, Turners, PCOS and many others). Some other terms which we do not endorse but which may have been applied to you include: DSD/ Disorder of Sex Development/ disordering terms, atypical reproductive or sex development condition etc.

This project has been developed under the advice of a Reference Group including Morgan Carpenter of Organisation Intersex International (OII) Australia; Bonnie Hart of The Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS) Support Group Australia, and Dr Gávi Ansara of the National LGBTI Health Alliance. If you are interested in sharing your experiences of health, education and social supports, please see the attached survey's first page which goes into detail about the survey and what it involves, and how this data will be used. Feel free to share this post in your networks.

This survey has ethics approval from the University of New England and is open to all intersex and trans*people.

If you wish to respond to it please feel free.

I have given approval to Dr Tiffany Jones to post this survey that seeks to help the health and well being of the intersex and trans* community.

Be prepared for tears and triggers in completing this survey.  And it certainly isn't a five minute tick box survey either, but I think it's well worth supporting.
