Of course I'm going to transition anyways... But are there men out there who would date a 5'11 woman? I just want to love and be loved ... Isn't love what life is all about?

People are in all kinds of relationships.

Its not only the body, personality is also a factor. I'd say just relax.

And many models are over 6`.One advantage of many trans people is long legs, which people tend to find sexy.

5'11" is statuesque. I'm 5'11" (almost) and I do get attention from men.

Another thing I'm worried about is that I'm 20... And I no age is a huge factor to how well HRT works... What is the suggestion on how soon to start HRT? What age did some of you start HRT?

Well people are different and there are no clear cut suggestions...
I'd say start if you feel ready...

and, well, some people were not that masculine from the beginning...

I think I will be ready when I get a different apartment, probably around tax season so I can start HRT, get some nice clothes, and then maybe try to find a boyfriend :3

But sometimes its of advantage to also give a few thoughts to what kind of person one would like... a more outgoing person... a more reflected person... etc...

I'd say just keep in mind its of advantage to start hrt early.

I know but my current living situation well kick me out if I  started hrt... I actually plan on starting it and then wearing sweatshirts and stuff to hide it, then one day when I have everything set up to move I'm gonna be like "you know what sounds like a good idea today? The beach, let's all go to the beach" xD
And I already know what kind of bf I want, I want a gentle giant who knows how to dominate a situation... Or me >.>

I started at 51. Wish I'd started earlier, but I'm not unhappy with the effects.

I don't think there have been any studies on how effects of HRT vary with age.

I started hrt at around 19 and a half. I can't complain about the effects at all simply because it gives me some peace of mind. But my family genetics is... pretty flat chested so I'm not expecting much growth there haha.

If the women in your family tend to be pretty, that helps? My grandmother and mother were beautiful at my age o:

If you want to go the natural route you could look up breast masage... its originally for cis girls who grow their breasts, its a centuries old hint... with a good oil (I'd go with plant sources, not mineral, and for massage purposes), gentle massage a few minutes twice a day... its said to help with estrogen receptors and blood flow.


And you could look up noogleberry, there are a few reviews on amazon for example. Just don't overdo it... gentle suction and a gentle experience .

First of all I have and always have had a thing for tall girls. I used to work IT at a school with a 6'3" female teacher. I was disappointed when I found out she was married. She was decent looking, but the fact that she was tall made her even more attractive in my eyes. I can promise you I am not the only person interested in tall girls.

Secondly you have no idea how lucky you are to be starting at 20. Yes ideally we would all start before we go through the wrong puberty, but being 20 means you actually have age on your side. I'm 33 and I started just before my birthday. I seem to be responding well, but things are going slower than they usually do for most people. My skin is just now starting to become softer. I believe that's related to age. With that said I've seen evidence that 30+ can be fine as well.

Williams1701(sorry I don't know your preferred name D: ) you have given me hope, you look absolutely amazing ... I'm going to be starting around late 20 early 21, I hope to fare well but my facial features are very strong... Maybe once I get more comfortable I will post a picture and ask people's opinions... When I do that I want people to be brutally honest. The reason is because I don't want to then start hrt and be disappointed if it's not what I was expecting. Truthfully though, I don't think I have ever seen an utter disaster for a transition (what I have for expectations of mine ._. ) The reality is, I'm almost 6' , stronger than an ox because I do manual labor for work and have a very defined brow ridge and Jawline... My chin, eyes nose, and especially lips are definitely a plus though and a good head start for pre-hrt...

I'm 5 10, started at 36 and I do manual labour for a living. It has all been working out just fine. My long athletic legs and lower body musculature have been proving to be assets, as fat redistribution has begun my body has started to look more feminine very quickly. It turns out too that I don't have as much upper body bulk as I thought. In my head I look like a body builder but the calming effects of hrt and some very kind friends have helped me see that I am more built like an athletic woman. I have more than a few cis female friends who are my hight or taller and the single ones get plenty of dates, the others are in long term monogamous relationships. I am very happy with the changes thus far, my body has responded more quickly than I expected and more than I expected. I went through male puberty early and fast too so perhaps that is a factor. My body may be very sensitive to hormones of all kinds. T certainly felt like torture and E just feels like bliss.

Another plus to being taller, your breasts are closer to the eye level of other people. And I am just learning that breasts help you pass. People don't see my beard stubble because they are stairing at my tiny boobs. Men are truly the visual creatures they are made out to be.

I'm Ashley (its in my forum signature) as is the information as to how long I've been on HRT. Almost 6 months now.

I'm also 6' tall. I don't hesitate to wear wedges with 2-3" heals either. I'm actually starting to get ma'amed now. I think attitude is very important. I own it.

The biggest difference between me now and 6 months ago is my 5:00 shadow is significantly reduced (via laser) and my hair color is no longer natural. There is an even bigger difference between me 6 months ago and me a year ago (pre-trans acceptance). I was fat. My face was chubby. I wasn't exactly depressed, but I wasn't happy either. Here I am almost a year later after trans acceptance and loving it.

I am 5' 11" also. I started at 47 and had a career as a Paramedic/Firefighter. Transition can work wonders, but no effects are guaranteed. Everyone responds differently. As long as you can be positive and happy people will find you attractive no matter what. Attitude will carry you far more than appearances.

I'll hopefully be starting within the next month or two at 40 years old. I'm also 5'11".  I have cis female friends that are as tall as 6'5" and still wear 5" spikes with no shortage of guys hitting on them, so height really shouldn't be an issue. For me personally, I spent a lot of time dwelling on features I thought were too masculine (my shoulders) prior to reaching actual self-acceptance. I've found that since I've accepted myself and my apparent fate, I really don't care about that stuff as much anymore. They're certainly not roadblocks for me anymore. I could stand to lose about 60lbs though.

I also used to spend a lot of time reminding myself that I would be alone for the rest of my life if I transitioned because nobody would want me. The realization that I would never have a successful relationship if I didn't learn to accept myself is what led to my self-acceptance. That made all those worries about whether I'd be able to meet someone post transition all go away.

I started at 21 and had pretty awesome results. I'm 3 years in and life is great
