I'm pre-T & starting soon although I have some concerns about T affecting my creative mindset.

I know T doesn't alter your personality & everyone is genetically different, but I heard from some guys that it has affected their emotional state thus influencing their creative behaviors.

My job is in the creative field & I write poetry so I'm concerned about T closing the door on some of my 'portals'. Have any of you experienced a shift in your creative side since starting T?

I'm currently in art school, I intend to work in animation, I do art all the time.

When I started T, I definitely didn't notice any changes in my art that I could put on the T. Every change I have noticed in my art has been normal reactions to art school- I don't make much of anything personal anymore because I use up all my creativity on school projects, so I no longer do art to relax. I know it isn't permanent at all because I draw a ton for personal art during breaks. My class projects haven't suffered because of T at all.

Although, I would say more of my personal art is much more emotional than it used to be, as I can no longer cry out my feelings very often. I've had a lot of stress in my life outside of school that've been progressively getting worse and I used to cry out these sorts of frustrations, however, now I rarely cry, and when I do, I am simply drained afterwards without much relief. So when I do get chances to do personal art, it tends to carry more of my emotions within it. So I guess my personal art has gotten a little more polarized, with pieces with very little emotion (doodles and such, things for when I just feel like drawing) or they're very full of pent up emotions (more of the bigger, finished pieces).

I don't know if this answers your question at all?

Thanks for your input CursedFireDean, makes total sense. When one sense is diminished usually another one heightens

I think you'll find hormones won't change your creativity but they may have an effect on how you are able to access and focus that creativity initially. Once things settle down and your body has adjusted to the new playing field then things kick back in.
