Do the montgomery glands on the nipples disappear, get smaller or change in any way when taking testosterone? I am just asking this out of curiosity (while impatiently waiting for the doctors to make a final evaluation of my personality so that I can start taking hormones). Anyway, it would be nice to hear about your experiences regarding potential testosterone induced nipple development.

Mine got smaller after I started HRT. After I had the mastectomy, where they took some of the aereola off, my chest looked pretty normal after the swelling went down. I never had large nipples, so if you feel that yours are very large, you can ask your surgeon about reduction once you have been on HRT for a while.

Okay, I actually thought cismen didn't have montgomery glands but after a little googling I found out that they indeed do. Seems that they are just less visible in general. When you say yours got smaller after you started HRT, are you talking about the glands (if you have/used to have them) or about the nipples?

Sorry about the weird topic by the way, and thanks for taking the time answering.

My nipples were average. I did have montgomery glands on both. I can't say that HRT affected them in any way. With the grafts from top surgery, I no longer have them.
