There are various clubs in my workplace, and the most popular one is the marathon club. I have not been good at running since I was a child, but I have regularly run to keep my body slim. Also, marathon is excellent in helping keep my health. I just worried about possible problems in joints. Until now, no problem except a minor arthralgia in my left foot.

During marathon events, some people wear peculiar dresses to express themselves. I once saw a man on batman's dress who finished a full-course marathon within 3 hours. There are implicitly strict rules on dress at my workplace. Short pants are not allowed, although no dress code exists. During marathon, I can wear more freely. I like to wear sports-leggings or short-pants. Sometimes, I wear foundation to protect my face from the sun. Also, sometimes I apply lipstick. My colleagues initially seemed to be surprised at my wearing cosmetics, but now they kid me by calling me as a lady. The following photos was taken by my young colleague at my workplace. He and his wife together participated in a marathon course, and both of them praised my beauty as a woman. I always appreciate their open mind to understand unusual people. A few weeks ago, he and I finished a full-course marathon for the first time.

Just do it.

I try to go run also to loose some weight. In my ,opinion you don't really have a problem with that you know.  Where I work there is no real dress code, allthough it is the financial world and normally it is a suit and a tie. At least for men. For women all is free.

I put up lipstick for Halloween. I thought it was the right occasion to come out perhaps with a dress outside but it will be for next year I think. But I did put lipstick on for Halloween. And to my own surprise my whitened teeth came out much better than normally. I used a product to make them whiter but I thought the result was not really perfect. But with lipstisck everything changed.

I'm actually a personal trainer.

Running is one of the worst things for your knees but one of the best things for your body.

I can honestly say you do more damage running 20 miles than squatting 500 pounds.

BUT, the detriments of running are generally only realized once someone STOPS running.
Master runners, those who continue to run well past middle adulthood experience amazing reductions in aging both physically and cognitively over their age group peers.

I personally do at least an hour of cardiovascular activity a day, from running or cycling to just working out the legs.

Some of my colleagues finished ultra-marathon (100-km, ca. 60-mile, course). And there is a cross-country marathon (about 400-km course) requiring at least 3 days, and a "5-mountain" course in which people cross 5 high mountains usually within 12 hours.

I have finished just one full course, and think I will do it once every year, although I initially thought that once in my life time would be enough. Usually, I run about 6 km (about 4 miles) from my home to my work place, which I think is enough for keeping my health.
