we had a great time to.

We did indeed :)  We had a wonderful time; we are very thankful for what we have.
I'm very happy that you kitty cats had an awesome time as well.

Blair and Kate:  I'm sorry things didn't turn out as you expected.  Better times will come, be sure of that.. :)

my date went great as well. ;)

Well, congratulations are in order then.  That's the best part of every holiday, me thinks....to be with the person that owns your heart :)

Kate and Blair....  I just hate to hear about people being treated like that!

Smoking turkeys is a real art, Bev.  We need to have a cook-off some time.  I use my own combination of Oak and Mesquite, with a special Mojo sauce.  mmmmmm  except they do make me cough!

I feel like an outcast.  No thanksgiving in Bulgaria either but I give thanks for what I have every day.

The 22nd was the five year anniversary of my sweetheart and I, so we spent of the day playing Mass Effect.

Did have a small dinner with his family, at my request. I asked his Mom if she could host a dinner and let me help her cook. Which she did and I helped a little where I could. Wasn't taught how to cook anything growing up so I'm only just learning at the age of twenty-three. My boyfriend is learning with me so that makes it fun.

Ditched my parents, they had a crazy idea for Thanksgiving and I wanted none of that...even their normal Thanksgiving is hard for me to get through. Right now they are visiting my bigoted Grandma and all of my evil extended family. The side of my family that isn't full of bigots and scum I don't see much of, sadly, but my (good) cousin texted me so that was cool.

Next year I plan on hosting my own sort of Thanksgiving and do things on my own terms. Or should I say my boyfriend and I's terms, ha ha. Though, it shall be the ultimate test of my cooking skills. Cooking has become a hobby for me, and it tastes good baby.

It's good to read most people had a family or other happy holiday.
I hope for better days ahead for those who faced hard times recently.

My Thanksgiving plans are the same as always.  Cleaning, cooking, setting the table, serving, eating, cleaning.  All with a bunch of in-laws that I hate.
Ha ha!  oh, i mean, sorry to hear that.
I'm not complaining.  Staying in the kitchen keeps me away from the in-laws.

My son has a copy of that game.  I want to know all about rescuing the GenTech employee's daughter, Lisbeth.
