Hey friends!!  I found a new show on abc Family called Becoming Us; I think it has real promise and I am not just saying that because they film it here in Chicago!  The show takes a look at a family that is dealing with a later-in-life transition and it, so far, is being handled in a sensitive and compassionate manner.  This really seems like it could be the year of trans-awareness and that should excite everybody!  Check it out and let me know what you all think!!

I don't have cable TV so I watched it over the internet this morning. I really liked the show; it is an honest look at the struggle and the discomfort and the pain and the joys that happen in a family with a transitioning member. I am really looking forward to the next episode.
