My friend said Ayden take them. Haven't looked into them. I also saw an organization in Oregon that gives them to trans youth. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of these people or anyone else who is legit.

Some bigger chested guys will be happy :) At least they will continue to be of some use to someone.

I know there are a ton of valid options out there, but I personally couldn't pay for shipping to get my old binders places, so I donated them to a youth shelter. There's only one even sort of close to me that's LGBT friendly so I donated them there along with some clothes that don't fit me anymore. I knew if they went there, some kids who really needed them would get them, kids who might not be able to get jobs to pay for them themselves.
I also considered giving them away online, probably through tumblr, to people who couldn't afford their own binders. But as I said before, I was iffy about whether I could afford the shipping.

Not sure if it is convenient for you to get them there, but the MN Transgender Health Coalition has a gender gear program that would find new homes for them.  They are legit.

Point 5cc (Aydian Dowling's company... http://point5cc.com/) is great.  I just donated a binder for their program.  They are less gate-keepery about it, so they don't ask for long applications or impose restrictions that limits who can get them.

If you happen to live in a city, there may be a program in your area.  Our queer center runs a gender-affirming clothing and gear exchange program.  That's where I donated all my (feminine) business clothes when I started transitioning.

They would make a nice beginning for a binder program here!  :)

I gave mine away post-op. I wrote a post on Tumblr saying what I had available and asked people to share it. I had three binders and I was able to get rid of them in less than a day. I wasn't asking for anything. You may have less luck if you ask people to pay or provide you with shipping money.

Give them away here. I think most people would pay the shipping charge.

But you do have to make a purchase from their shop so hardly free like they claim it to be.

Big Brothers Binder program on FB or just giving them to people you know who need a binder would be a good way to do it.

There's the In a Bind program http://www.transactiveonline.org/inabind/. They collect new and used binders then give them to FTM youth who can't afford or aren't allowed to purchase their own. I think it's great for youth who have unsupportive families and need help.

Is it allowed to ask for shipping in return for an item? If so I have one binder that I've been trying to get rid of. It's like new, and I don't anything but shipping for it but I didn't know if that was allowed here

Maybe we should make a stickied thread and start a binder exchange/giveaway program?

I like the idea, but it will require approval from the site owner, Susan.

I'm pretty sure as long as it's actual shipping costs, you can give them away here.

"Yours free with only a $69.95 shipping and handling charge" would not be allowed.
