I've had 2 sessions and noticed it takes about 2 weeks for all the dead hair to fall out. However that's also when the next batch starts to grow. It looks 10x better, but I still have to shave daily. Fortunately I don't have a lot of white hairs, but there are certainly some there.

I get like a week reprieve before I really have to shave.

Well I would like to join the 1st laser session club. Had it last night. I couldn't believe the smell of burnt hair..... Pain is manageable. I'm surprised how smooth my face is this morning. We'll see what it looks like in a few weeks.

ur first one probably won't make a huge difference at all. And it is also the least painful session of any of them. I'm not trying to scare you or anything. My laser technician turns up the power each time. I have my forth session tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it.... But I am excited to see how clear my face gets. It is getting so much better each time now!

I found 1 & 2 to be comparable in pain, but 2 went a lot faster.

I beg to differ and this is why YMMV always.

My first laser session was extremely painful. The subsequent ones got less painful as there was less hair.

And, it made a huge difference. I had smooth in two weeks.

The power and duration did get turned up each time but the last one got turned down a bit because I got burned a bit the last time. So we are more or less at max for me.

I also learned how to better use topical anesthetic cream.

I just did session #4 last week. I'm in the shedding phase of it right now. The first week is hell because the hairs are raised and the skin is bumpy. I can't get a close shave.  Week 2 is better as they begin to slide out. By week 3 I am smooth. Week 4 they start to grow back which is when I attack again. Rinse repeat.

Then again for my skin and yours we also use different lasers. They use the Nd:YAG on mine.

I guess different laser technicians probably do things slightly different. Mine said that she ups the power of the lasers each time because the hairs that grow back become more tolerant to the lasers
