like what? the only one i know of is Rogaine.....but that does more harm than good...its all chemicals and can give u skin cancer....on top of which if u ever stopped using it.....u lose all the hair u gained thats how it works....so its no good unless u plan to use it for life....but if u use it for life youll most likely get skin cancer
I wasn't holding it open for you, who holds the door open for a man?!?

Well I thought it was a nice gesture....BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG!!!!!

I think there is a thread about Minoxidil. It's more of a gel than a cream from my understanding, but that'll encourage facial hair growth.

I take a daily Biotin supplement, which encourages all over hair growth (including the face). My body hair has definitely started to fill in more since I started taking it, without any changes to my weekly T dose.

How long have you been on testosterone? Have you started yet? Mine didn't quite jumpstart until around 13 months. I had some growing before then but nothing substantial like now.

Facial hair growth really depends on genetics. Look at the men in your family and see what their hair is like. If they're Sasquatches chances are you will be too. If they're hairless then chances are you will be too. But everyone is different and you could possibly be the diamond in the ruff.

In my studies I've noticed a few ethnicities having strong beard genes i.e Northern European, Italian, Indian, and Arabic backgrounds and some having little to no hair growth i.e Asian backgrounds and Native American backgrounds. But that doesn't necessarily mean your family being asian or native american causes bad facial hair growth. Look at Hayao Miyazaki for example. That's a great beard!!

I wouldn't recommend putting anything on your face as the skin there is a hell of a lot more sensitive than the top of your head. But, If you're dying for that beard I'd recommend Biotin, Certain types of Maca, Hair, Skin and Nails supplements (Biotin can be found in these), and willpower.

If you really wanna try Minoxidil I'd have a look at this link first http://jefffsbeardboard.yuku.com/topic/23391/Minoxidil-Summary-and-Experiences#.VYHrR_lVjZA

Remember that it can take 4 - 6 years on testosterone for your full beard potential to shine!! Good luck and happy bearding!
I've found you, Beast!

Thank you, Regnar. My family is all Northern European genes. All men on both sides of my family have moderate body hair and are capable of full beards. No, I am not on T yet. I'm just thinking ahead.

Thank you, I will do some reading on Biotin.

I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself here, Jake. ;) I wouldn't consider any sort of hair cream until you're a few years on T at least (4-6 would be best, so you know what you're actually starting with and what you will naturally have from there on out).

I once saw some pretty good advice on here that I'm going to pass onto you: the best way to experience HRT is to take your shot, and forget about it. That way, when you do see results, you're even more surprised/pleased! Also, changes can happen a lot faster than you might expect; I wasn't expecting any facial hair at first, but within a few days to a week my face, especially near the sideburns, was covered in thick, blonde hair (vellus hair, scientifically). I was glad I didn't set my sights super high right off the bat, because the results came as that much more exciting to me!

Minoxidil is the main ingredient in Rogaine....its the same as using Rogaine....its not any safer and not meant to put on your face....also if u wanna take the risk of damaging your skin u will have to use it for the rest of your life....because as soon as u stop using it u lose all the hair u gained.....its not worth it to me....im having trouble growing facial hair but i'd never take the risk of putting those chemicals on my face and then having to use it the rest of my life or having all the facial hair i gained never grow back....in the long run it probably does more harm than good and prevents the facial hair from developing in a healthy way

I'm someone who likes to plan ahead a lot- a big picture thinker. I've always wanted to be a blonde man, you're lucky.

I'm actually not blonde, but as you'll see for yourself on T, facial hair grows in stages. The first few stages are long, blonde hairs, regardless of natural hair colour. It kind of lets you know where you're due for terminal hairs (thick, head hair) in the future.
