I love reading anything about Christine Jorgenson. I was about 10 when I first heard of her and I realized at that moment how I was different. Growing up in the 60's though you couldn't tell your parents how you were different and finding a way to transition was near impossible. I am so amazed at those who began transitioning 30 or 40 years ago. In my mind, these are heroes overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles to be themselves.
