So this is probably the 100th million time you all have seen a post about Top Surgery but I figure I would give you guys my experience.
Just a quick intro about myself my name is Jay and I'm 30y/o. I started taking Testosterone about 2 years ago (so I started my venture a little later than some). I have been very lucky to have my family, friends, and co-workers supporting me 100%. I'd say I'm still in my teenage boy looking phase but I do pass 100% of the time thankfully lol. Anyways I went to Dr.Beverly Fischer in Timonium, MD just outside Baltimore. I live in Northern Virginia so I was lucky that she was only about an hour and a half away from me. The staff was very friendly and Doctor Fischer was also extremely pleasant and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately for me I had to file a claim with my insurance company and pay for everything out of pocket (total $8450.00 still waiting on my money) When I went for my consultation she told me I was bordering on key hole and double incision but she recommended I do DI. She told me that she gives her opinion on what she believes is going to give the best results but she will do what YOU want. I was afraid of the scars at first but I looked around the internet doing research and saw how much better the DI looks compared to the Keyhole for people with a larger cup size.
I went ahead and chose to do the DI and I am so damn happy I made this choice. I got to see a small peek yesterday at my new chest and I was so happy. My nipples were small and round, everything looked really good. But if you guys have any questions or want to know what to prepare yourself with before your surgery let me know and I'd be happy to provide some info on what things I got to make this go much smoother.
