So I don't know why I'm panicking about it today because it's happened before.
I have a pain in my left arm after injecting into the left side of my stomach.
When I do it on the right, I have right arm pains.

Is this normal?
I'm 19 years old, 5'2", about 160lbs, trying to lose some weight.

It hurts on the outside part of my upper arm.

Just need someone to get me out of this nervous mindset.   

My best friend actually does the sub-q injections as well. He says sometimes when he does it that it hurts bad and he's even had a lump grown by the injection site. I'm not a doctor but you may be hitting a nerve or vein which can be quite painful. Keep switching injection areas every now and then also give it a little massage too when you're done. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about and if anything just call your Doctor and ask them. Hope you feel better

If you were giving the injection into the arm, it would make sense, but having pain in the arm when you are injecting your stomach is a little weird. Is there pain all the way up from the injection site to your arm, just pain in your arm and not your stomach or pain at the injection site, no pain in between and then a pain in the arm?

It might be normal, but I think I'd ask my Dr. if I were you.

I normally get lumps at the injection site. My arm and my injection site hurts. My arm feels like it's sore when it happens. I have my next shot tomorrow and I'll see what happens. It's the right side of my stomach tomorrow.
