I'm almost a year on T (one year this July) and just got my period yesterday. So far it's light and I'd only stopped a couple months ago in February-ish which already took a long time to stop in the first place. I've also been getting my shots every three weeks from Kaiser at their injection clinic, and the dosage have been the same from when I first started last year. I'm wondering if there is anything I should be concerned about? My endo is out of the office on vacation. I feel like I should mention that did have a month lapse in coverage at Kaiser between going off my parent's health plan and my own (wasn't covered in May) but my doctor gave me the prescription for the month and I had the nurse on campus at my college do the injection for me so I wouldn't miss a shot. My T levels looked fine to both my endo and the doctor who reviewed my charts on campus (they had to review my charts before the nurse on campus could give me the injections).

Maybe you should also do pap smear.Pay attention to the amount of bleeding and color(light/dark)..

Unless you're in physical pain, I'd just leave a message for your doctor to have them contact you when you get back. It isn't uncommon for guys to have some bleeding after being on T for a while. If it isn't accompanied by pain, I don't think you need to get more stressed about it.

I do agree with Andre though. As there could be something going on in there, a pap smear or exam would be something I'd want, despite the obvious discomfort.

Hi. You don't say whether or not you have had any surgical procedures done. If you still have your ovaries, then you are still producing estrogen from them. That may have something to do with it. I agree with the others though that you should have it checked out.

When I first started taking T., the endocrinologist told me that I might have spotting at times, but had surgery before that ever happened. Even though I had everything removed, including my cervix, he told me to get exams to make sure that I didn't develop cancer.

It never hurts to have an M.D. assess the situation, and I think you will rest easier if you know what the source is.

I am still pre-t; having one after not for a year would really be a downer for me.  I have been using the guys restroom for about a year and having bleeding start again on needing a tampon would be the worst things to happen.  At least now I get clamps about a day before I start and can put a couple on them in my backpack to have when I do. ngo, I hope you have gotten ahold of your dr and know what is going on.
