"Medium.com, the woman said: "Facebook decided my name was not real enough and summarily cut me off from my friends, family and peers and left me with the stark choice between using my legal name or using a name people would know me by.""

So disappointing, but no surprise.

A surprise to me. On Oct. 1, 2014, Facebook announced that they would no longer require transgender people to use their pre-transition names. I would like to hear Facebook's version on why this is still happening before I pass judgment. This article does not mention any attempt to reach Facebook for comment.

Your right it doesn't and that makes you wonder. I to would love to hear there side of the story.
