One of the FFS surgeons I'm looking at is Dr. Javier Rossi, Argentina. Anyone have info/links/experiences?

He has a very good price point for my needs...
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Hi Beth,

Search this forum and you'll find some pretty good threads on Dr. Rossi. In my opinion he's a good surgeon who has been building experience. I went to him because the price point was just right, the before/afters I saw were good, and Amanda was super nice - he's the best deal you can get, especially because of the exchange. Also I loved Buenos Aires. I am going back next year to Amanda and  Dr. Rossi  or body contouring surgery since I was so happy with my experience. You can see mine here at https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,189339.0.html. The swelling is still going down for me but Amanda sent me some great before/afters she took. My forehead, nose, and chin all look very different, probably as feminine as can get for me. He's very aggressive I assure you. Very kind person too (Great sense of humor - one of the last things he said me: "Enjoy your new face!").  I'd rather wait a few months to post photos on here but I might be able to share them if you message me.

Dear Beth Andrea, he is certainly cheaper than Dr. DiMaggio for example, but DiMaggio is much more experienced. We are talking about several hundreds of FFS more than Dr. Rossi. I don't want to say anything negative about Dr. Rossi. Still, after my Skype Consultations I had with him and then Dr. DiMaggio I would always choose the latter. Think about it. You have only one face.

greetings, Greta

Hi Beth,

I updated my thread with some new photos but I'll repost them here for your convenience. One month exactly after my surgery.

Like Greta mentioned, you only have one face but I trusted Dr. Rossi and it turned out perfectly fine.  I'm very happy I chose Dr. Rossi. Saved lots of money too :) This of course is not a competition between surgeons. There are so many good ones nowadays. Personally I was getting older and could no longer look in the mirror. We only have so much time  in life and I didn't want to waste it saving for surgery. A disclaimer about these before/afters is that I got hair transplants as well but Dr. Rossi did the best he could but my hairline shape was pretty bad (the M-shape is hidden behind my hair). If it's any help, ask Amanda about that, she knows a great transplant surgeon at an incredibly affordable price :)

I got my FFS done by him and am very happy. My experience was very positive. He is a great surgeon and a very nice person. I had some experience with plastic surgery from a previous rhinoplasty that I got elsewhere, which didn't turn out so well, so I have something to compare him and his work with.
