Great, as long as you understand that you have a right to your gender identity. As a human being, dressing and presenting as your identified gender is something you should not have to work for, should not have to curry favor with your folks to be entitled to.
I hope over time, they'll understand that allowing you to be yourself is not something you should have to earn, and that it's cruel to require someone to pretend to be someone they're not, whether or not they are helpful and kind.
