I've done some research, and have found a couple people online who have had their FFS paid for by their insurance company. Like here: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?topic=161778.0

The other girl lived in Massachusetts where they have a good legal landscape for trans people, so her insurance just covered it (with proper documentation).

Also, both girls went through Dr. Z who seems to be conducive to helping girls get FFS paid for by insurance.

I was wondering how easy it would be to work out something like this? I live in Florida with an insurance plan that specifically lists "gender transitioning treatments" as not covered. Am I just out of luck? Or is there some way to get this covered by insurance?

Thanks!  :)
