**mini emotional rant warning**

It's been one of those kind of weeks. :( Yesterday I did not get the job I applied for that I was hoping for. I knew it was possible; but it didn't stop it from being difficult. I was working on getting myself over that today...I decided I was gonna go and get my car cleaned up at the wash, as I like  to do things like that. (I LOVE my car) So as I am leaving, I realized someone keyed small crisscross patterns on the right side band going over the top of the doors, and a little bit on my trunk. I literally got furious seeing this, and after the car wash went straight to the police department to report it.

Then the afternoon only got worse.

I've worked with this PD before for other issues, and they have always been really good; I have nothing bad to really say about them. Some of the officers are aware of my being trans, and have been extremely respectful to me, which I appreciate. But when I got in, it was different staff running today than usual. I am presenting (makeup, girly clothing, purse with me), and before I even get to explain the vandalism situation with my car the dispatcher was like "How can I help you sir?" ........ >:( :( It got really embarrassing for me really quickly, and I showed my ID for info purposes, which did NOT help my feelings of embarrassment (it's still not corrected yet). I just explained to the officer after he arrived, and he was understanding. But after that, I just got paranoid of being clocked for the rest of the day, in addition to the frustration involving my car and the job.

Ugh, I just need a hug I guess. :-\ I normally get gendered correctly over 90% of the time when I am presenting as a girl, and this just made the day awful.
