good morning all

my name is jana maria and i am living in berlin. so, i checked a lot of surgery options for srs here in germany and i do not come to the conlusion that i could do it here. ok, maybe there is dr. schaff in munich as an option, but i think he is good, but not the best one.
when i thought about my body and my sensation i would like to have the best i could get. in the past i contacted dr. chettawut and dr. suporn and after a lot of mails, questions and writings with other trans*woman i decided to go there. but the health insurance in germany won´t pay, so i have to save money by my own.
now i am thinking of to have the orchiectomy first and both, dr.chettawut and dr. suporn, answered that is not a problem.
now my question: do you have any experiences? any ideas? maybe adresses in germany?
i think it is really crazy that we do not talk about this option here. sometimes it seems so that you have to do big solution .. otherwise  you are not a real trans*woman

There are lots of non op / pre op trans women here who consider themselves real. Perhaps not the best choice of wording Oof

Wording aside, yes some do orchie with or without SRS. It is a matter of choice- whatever works best for the individual.

All trans women are real women (regardless of surgical status), I want to make that perfectly clear!

As Jenny said not everyone wants surgery, for those who do it is to be considered very carefully that it is right for you.

Some SRS surgeons don't like you to have an orchie as it reduces the amount of skin they have to work with.

Then again lots of girls have an orchie and never wish to progress to GRS.

sorry jenny .. i think there is a misunderstanding. that´s not what i would like to say. what i really want to say is, that no one in germany (or less people) are talking about this way to go / to be. i have just cited what a lot of trans*people in germany i know are talking about. but i was afraid that it could be misunderstood, so it happened.

I seriously doubt that there are more trans sexual women saying that GRS is the only way to go. Yes they may be more vocal. But I'm pretty sure you would find as many women do not have GRS, or regret GRS, or who have had failure from GRS than those who have had GRS to be 'a complete woman'.

You do to your body what you want to do. You should never be lead by a herd mentality. You make decisions about you. No one else's opinion is relevant.

.. thank you for your words. for me I 'm already sure who I am and i know my way to go. thank you again. but that is not what i am interested in. orchiectomy is totally not a discussed issue in germany neither if you are genderfluid, non-binary, ..... that's what irritates me.

SRS wise Dr. Schaff is currently one of the best if not the best. His technique with the urethra based vaginal canal gives it a mucous mebrane similiar to that of a bio-females vagina, which in turn makes your vagina a naturally a moist, wet if you're sexually aroused, pink warm place with a healthy vaginal flora.
He's also using the prepuce to form your inner labia which is also mucous and the same type of tissue bio-females have there. So basically he's using every material to form the new genital.
Im also having my srs with him. The downside is his waiting list though. 3 years and more!

If you just want to have the orchi then go ahead and get it done. You can still have srs after it, if you would want to, someday.
