If they are a gender therapist you would hope they would be supportive and won't be judgemental. If they are really good they will try to make you feel at ease about the process. They might still ask some questions that challenge you - a therapist that goes along with everything you say is just as bad as one that goes against everything you say. They may ask about your childhood, how you are feeling now, your interpersonal relationships, etc. If you need to cry, don't hold back. Try to stay out of your head and avoid dishing up personal theories, just stick to how you feel and you should be fine.
