Hello peeps ! I am a brand new member here.
This will be my very first post and question on Susans forum.
I'm a pre-T guy here and just ordered my first packer STP, Mr.Limpy packer that's modified into an STP with a med spoon from packer-locker.
My order is still on its way, but now I had to deal with this stupid period. So I was wondering, for guys out there who wear packer STP 24/7.

What would you do during the period moment?
Did you just stop wearing them until you stop? or
Do you have any tips on how to wear them even you're on period?
What happen if one day when you're wearing your packer, and you have a sudden period?

Since this is my first purchase for packer STP, I also would like to ask some Tips on how to take care of packers.
Avoid from damaging it. What you can do with it, what you cannot do with it.
Do you wear it while you're sleeping? shower?
Do you also soap it in shower ? Is it safe ?
Is it okay to wear it while swimming with chloride water?

Sorry if I asked too much questions and if they are weird and stupid questions.
I wish someone out there could explain me about these.

You can never ask enough questions and no question is stupid.
Pre-T for me I didn't really wear a packer, to be honest I bought mine when I started T and my period stopped as soon as I started (but it's different for everyone)

There are harnesses you can buy that won't be up on your junk it will just hold the STP in front of you. There is also Tranzwear and their website offers custom made underwear with a pouch in it for your STP. I think they have briefs so that if you are on your period and you don't do tampons (I sure as hell never did) you can use a pad. Everything on the site is very reasonably priced too. Just make sure you take your measurements properly so you don't have a saggy penis :p.

I personally was never successful at using the medicine spoon and I give you props if it works for you, but don't be discouraged if it doesn't work. My first STP was with a medicine spoon and I just could never get the so called "seal" to work out for my anatomy (i'm still trying to find one that works for me). Since you have the Mr.Limpy you won't be able to have sex with it obviously. I'm pretty sure you can swim with it just wear maybe a speedo (Under board shorts if you prefre) to keep it in place. You can shower with it if you have something waterproof that will hold it on to you unless you want to just hold it between your legs. You can sleep with it too, I know with my STP packer I slept with it on a few times.

Just know the more you wear it the more your "essence" will cling to it so it's important to wash it with hot water and soap. I'd use  Dial or something similar to wash it. Every now and then some packers can be put it in hot boiling water to clean it better BUT MR.LIMPY can't be, it will apparently ruin it from what I have read. After you let it dry you can also use corn starch to dust it lightly  to keep it from being too sticky.

I actually wanted to order FreeTom in the first place, but a friend of mine suggesting me to buy something cheaper first to sort of practice first. Also, had a chat with the admin of packer-locker, he said my friend was right, so I bought that modified mr.limpy instead, I just found out that it'll be a bit of poking out on the med spoon part and I was not aware of that, does that mean I have to take it off and on when I have to use it as STP or packer ?
It makes me a bit of regret buying it now.
I also bought Omega harness with it. I'm just wondering , how do you switch between the pads to your STP when you want to pee. I know this will sound disgusting , but , there'll be blood all over it......
Do you have tips ?

Regarding the hot water part, I usually shower in a REAL hot water, when I said real, it is really really hot, that sometimes my skin turns into red. Would that be a problem if I wear it in the shower ?

Also, may I know what are you wearing currently? and is it comfortable? all I need know is just an STP that can pack as well, the sex part won't be a problem since I'm single atm. (*sad*) lol

I currently use "The Buddy" Freetom STP Packer. It takes A LOT of practice but it's very comfortable with a harness, if you don't wear it with a harness or briefs it moves all over the place (which means it could fall out of your pants at any moment). The pee hole on it was too small and I had to try and cut it to be bigger (I ended up mutilating the tip of it and it looks horrible).

As far as the medicine spoon goes I'm pretty sure you'd have to remove the spoon before packing but i'm not 100% sure.. it sounds uncomfortable if you left it. If you are using the men's restroom and you are on your period I would then recommend using the stall and sitting to pee. I was just thinking about what you said and was like..Nope don't want to pee and get blood all over my STP. I know this will sound disgusting but if I was still on my period and I tried to pee through my STP it would get backed up with clots of blood LOL. So my only recommendation is to sit and pee when you are having your monthly.

Don't regret buying your device. All of us have gone through so many different ones, I think some of us may have a dresser drawer filled with unused dicks. I spent around $900-1000 on my very first STP and that didn't work for me at all. I used it as a packer until after a year of being on T. It's all about trial and error, just look around the interwebzz for reviews or come here and ask .

As far as the water goes, I would soap it and wash it in the shower then set it to dry while you shower, just to be safe that it doesn't get ruined.

(PS- Check out Transthetics EZP STP. I think I might go with this next because I've heard so many great things about this device. The only problem is getting them before they sell out unless you want to spend the extra $100 on getting it colored match.)

I can guarantee that the products from peecock will be durable and usable in the pool, and it's a 3 in 1 so you can pack, pee, and make erect. I have one and I've yet to get a period with it, but I imagine I will just spring for a reusable menstrual cup that is quite amazing. I will share a link for both.

How did you find your FreeTom? Is it hard for you to adjust the STP and use it to pee?
I think I should have ordered FreeTom, shipping cost is such a pain in the ass. I live in Australia.
Just checked Transthetics , looks awesome, are they from the same company as PeeCock ? And are they from Australia ? That'd be great, but I saw the price, cost $200-300 (even without paint job) , that's huge for a student like me :|
Looking at the funnel , it looks like it'll be easier to use for STP rather than FreeTom's funnel. But you'll never know if you haven't try it.
I'd probably wait until it's re-stock, it's also still new, so I'll wait for another new products from them.

I don't have experience with an STP packer but I figured I'd try to answer some of the questions if I could.

Period:
I never wore my packer during my period, as I was too afraid to get blood all over it. I washed it thoroughly about every few days with hand soap, but I get so dysphoric about the blood that I didn't want it all over my penis. If I were ONLY packing, not STPing, I would think about wearing briefs with a pad (as I too will never ever put a tampon or a cup up in that area) and then wearing a second pair of underwear in which I would put the packer. I would say a period would make it very difficult to keep an STP clean and probably wouldn't recommend trying to use it then. If I suddenly got my period, I usually was light enough I could just wait until I got home and then remove the packer.

Packer Care:
For the Mr. Limpy, there's no using it for penetration or anything like that. (Though I've found that packers can be nice for masturbation, if you imagine that it's your own penis, but that's beside the point here.) If you use a harness, if it's got an O ring or anything like that, watch to make sure your packer doesn't begin to detach from the balls. Tears in that area are common. If you swim with it, clean it when you are done. If it's sticky, corn starch does wonders I hear, though I never had a sticky packer myself.

Sleep and Shower and such:
I am almost always wearing my packer. I wear it to sleep, I bring it into the shower with me, I wear it during the day, I only take it off to clean it and if I'm feeling sensitive down below that day.

If you're curious, the packers I have used are the MASHO, the Doc Johnson Light, and the ReelMagik Basic Packer. I currently only use the RM, as the masho is too small for my liking and the Doc Johnson fell apart. Also the RM feels much better. I do have experience with a medicine spoon STP, however, not within a packer. I was fairly good at using it without clothes on, however, once clothes were added, I struggled to position it correctly. It was just my anatomy, I know many guys do have success with it and love it. I plan to buy a peecock soon, but right now I have to pick between my name change or the peecock, and my name change is more important.

First, I hope your order actually gets to you. Packer Locker has sucked in my experience.

I packed 24/7 with a Mr. Limpy pre-T (switched to a Peecock recently), including during shark week. I was able to disassociate fairly well and used tampons. I still keep one in the bottom of my backpack in case I have random bleeding. Hasn't happened yet, but I know it's not out of the realm of possibility. I'd recommend carrying a bag with you and having what you need in it, and having space to put your packer in if you don't feel comfortable wearing it at any point in the day.

I wear one sleeping and showering. If you spent extra money to get it painted, it's a waste as it will wipe off pretty quickly with regular wear. Otherwise, I haven't experienced any damage or degradation from 24/7 use. I wear mine with a really slim harness. It only comes off post-shower to ring the water out of the harness, and then it goes right back on.

Geezz, this is making me disappointed, cause until now I haven't got my package yet.
Bleeding randomly in a daylight would be a big problem and I don't usually carry bag with me, except when I'm in Uni.
I spent so much money on only a Mr.Limpy that I might find hard to use (cause of the med spoon) , especially the shipping cost right here is such a pain while I could get it cheaper here in Melbourne, also faster, only difference would be, it's only a packer without STP.

Dude don't feel too down about it like I said to you before its trial and error and sometimes you just have to invest in these sings and see. Don't feel like you wasted your money though it's all a learning curve and you just gotta work out what works best for you as you go along

Yeah at least where I live, here the court fees alone are $120, plus a ton for fingerprint cards and background checks, plus cost of new ID, it's probably gonna cost just under $200 if I don't replace my passport yet. That's another $110. Ridiculous if you ask me, all of these different fees. But since the peecock I want is also that amount, gotta pick :/

No way! So it's not like in the UK where you can just change it via deed poll? Having to change ID etc here will still add up though. I guess you could weigh it out by if you need ID or whether you can live without it for a bit?

when i still had my monthly, i just put a pad in my boxer briefs and stuffed a bunch of toilet paper into the cup part of my stp. if you do this, make sure you wash it daily because bacteria can build up.

it's definitely not the most hygienic approach, but cycling caused an excessive amount of anxiety and i didn't feel like i was a /real guy/ so i had to do something.

So, Good news ! My package just arrived today (Finally!) , did a bit of phone video (Feeling like documenting it) then went straight to the bathroom to try it on.
First tried the STP on the shower, works well, didn't leak at all.
I also pack with it for the first time tonight to a party, and stood up peeing in public for the first time, was worried that it might be leaked and ended up having my pants wet, but I was so bold that I did it anyway. And it didn't leak AT ALL !
It feels so GREAT and AMAZING !
The harness is a bit of a problem though, it looks so vulnerable that it looks like gonna ripped off, and packing is a bit of uncomfortable or maybe it's just me who haven't get used to it.
Another great news is that in that party, for the first time I finally introduced myself with my chosen Guy's name which is 'Kyron' ! Took pictures with the guys on suit. It just feels great and thought I should share this with you guys!
