"Transgender model and bodybuilder Aydian Dowling has made the top ten of a competition to win a cover shoot for Men's Health magazine.

Dowling earlier this month progressed to the quarter finalsWriting on Facebook on the announcement that he had made it to the quarter finals, he said: "Thank You to everyone who has voted through this @menshealthmag Ultimate Guy Contest. Although sitting at #1 is not a guaranteed win- We made a BIG statement and THAT is something to be proud of already! We got #1 people !!""
