Today I had my first session of laser hair removal, at Laser Clinics Australia at the sunshine plaza in maroochydore, for my lower face and upper neck and I feel great.

That doesn't mean it was not uncomfortable, it was like being slapped in the face with rubber bands for about 10 minutes.

My beautician was excellent however and noticed whenever it was getting too much and gave me encouragement and a short, five to ten second, break to get ready for more treatment.

My beautician told me that the new lasers have less swelling, and so far I haven't noticed any, and that the laser aid cream will help reduce any that does occur.

So that's one down and about nine to go, one every two weeks.

I'm now relaxing with a coffee before I go have my eyebrows sculpted :) then I'm going shoe shopping.

Well here we are a month since I started with IPL and after only two treatments I'm ecstatic about the results.
I have large areas that no longer need shaving on my face and neck and I have had next to no side effects (I did have an ingrown hair that put up a fuss).
The staff at the clinic are excellent, friendly, accepting and knowledgeable. I can't say a bad word against them.
I go in tomorrow afternoon for my third round with the laser and I can't wait to see the results.
If you haven't already guessed I highly recommend Laser Clinics Australia http://www.laserclinics.com.au
