how do I add a picture into post without having to host the picture on the internet, like the avatar pic I uploaded?

click the image icon (looks like a little nature scene with trees), the copy the url inside the brackets.
Nero was the Forum Admin here at Susan's Place for several years up to the time of his death.

That's not the answer she was looking for Nero, and i must admit i don't know the answer to that one.

you can post into the gallery here Then you can copy the image url properties (right click on image)
