I skew skeptic, so if that colors this thought process a bit, I apologize.
Consider that to this point you have trusted a scientifically validated medical process, one that has worked for you and thousands of other trans men and women. It's been thoroughly researched, and applied successfully to your case. If your medium tells you something that disagrees with that process, why would her opinion hold more weight?
Even allowing for the possibility of true mediums, it stands to reason that at least some would be charlatans and liars. If this person is giving you advice or knowledge that disagrees with the medical community, scientific assessment, and your own personal conviction... find a new medium.
