I had a question that I can't seem to find an answer for, so forgive me if this question has been asked already. For those who've already gone through SRS and still have a fairly active sex life, is it okay for your male partner to ejaculate into your vagina? Is there a specific cleaning method for it? Or is it something that is not meant to happen? Forgive my curiosity, but it's just something that came to mind and I could not find an answer to tame it.

Girl you cannot let that sperm inside. It will dry rot and stink as hell. Don't forget there's a 'dead end' inside. That douche thing was never clear to me how it really function but me I use pressurize water of the shower press it strong on your vagina till it cleans deep inside. When I met my surgeon I even asked if something like a bottlebrush did exist to clean deep inside and he told me stop joking but I was serious, then nurse told me use douche but to me that douche is so not convincing. I use shampoo, my fingers and pressurize water.

I have been post for 40+ years and led a very active sex life (particularly when I was younger). There is no problem at all with your partner climaxing inside you - I can actually feel it and it is VERY erotic! - and it causes no problem - after all, that's what a vagina is for!  All the fluid kind of oozes away and your body's natural moisture washes some away. If you find you have a vaginal odour after a day or two, use a gentle feminine douche to freshen up.

A post-op vagina isn't much different than a cis vagina and should be treated the same way. The only difference is that we don't have monthly periods to help wash away any 'accumulations'.

I haven't yet had sex, though when I do, he's going to wear a condom, so this will be a moot point. All the gunk will stay in the little rubber thing.

I'm familiar with the difficulties of living with HIV. That will NOT be me, not for a few minutes of togetherness. For me it's condoms or opposite sides of the bed.

Well the vagina should have a protective flora... which might be disturbed by chemicals like shampoo...

Well it's not that I never intended using a condom (after I've had the surgery), it's just on some occasions the circumstances don't call for one, if you catch my drift? Surely there are plenty of reasons to have sex -with- a condom, but my question was intended to ask if it was okay to let your intimate partner climax in you every so often, or is it like a medical "no-no"? Something doctors would discourage as it could harm something?

Well if a vagina has a healthy flora and sperm is inside people report it find its way out... its possible a panty liner is a good idea...

Based on 30 years experience during which time I have had sexual encounters with both sexes, I agree with the vast majority here - its not a problem - a little basic hygiene is all that is required.

Clearly it depends on the woman and the surgeon, but Brassard's instructions say that the neovagina becomes as self-cleaning as the factory model, and in my case it appears to be true. I douched for the immediately pre-op period, stopped as instructed, and have had no issues since. I wash the vulva with soap and water, but the vagina takes care of itself.

Agreed, I have a very active sex life, and since I am in a committed long term relationship with my boyfriend and we both disease free, we have stopped using condoms as he cant get me pregnant.

You right Northern Jane, feels amazing when he climaxes inside me and feeling is heaven.

I dont have any funny smells, i keep my vagina clean, and the inside takes care of its self.
