Hey guys, I've been a month and a half on T and I workout 2-4 times a week and eat really healthy as a routine. But ever since I started T I've gained 2-3 pounds. Is this muscle or is it too early for my fat to be redistributing or to gain muscle? Idk it's weird cause if anything I've amped up my workouts since I have more energy.

i think the majority put on a decent amount of weight, including myself. t helps you fill out a bit more, so although the scales will show you've gained a lot, it's your body changing into a more masculine version. my face is a little wider, my neck is bigger, my shoulders are more broad, my sides have lost fat, my legs are mainly muscle now, but my stomach has seemed to take in that weight. you'll gain and shed it all off, just like puberty. :)

It's likely muscle, especially if you're working out regularly and eating healthy. On T, you will gain muscle MUCH faster than it would have ever been possible before, so definitely take advantage of that and keep it up!

Also, weight doesn't redistribute on its own. It will happen over time. You have to first lose the existing fat (T makes it easier to lose fat from female places), then when you gain new fat, it will be much more likely to stick to more masculine parts of your body. Unfortunately, a lot of people seem to be misinformed and believe that it all just happens on its own. That's how you end up with guys who don't work out and wonder why they've still got birthing hips 2 years into T.

It's likely muscle. I'm in the same boat. I gain weight easily (5 pounds a month is normal for me), but since starting I've only gained maybe 5ish pounds and I haven't changed my diet or routine at all.
