Summer

hi all
A few months ago when I glanced in the mirror I thought my eye colour has got brighter but I shrugged it off thinking it was due to the light or something .
Over the last 3 weeks close friends have commented on my eyes saying they look brighter. One asked if I had contacts in.
Today when I was getting ready I was like OMG my eye colour has definitely got deeper & brighter . Before hrt they were light blue now they are deep bright blue.
Has anyone had this happen to them?
Lol I would definitely swap brighter eyes for say other changes ie wider hips[emoji33]

Oh yes. I gave a seminar and one of the audience was a girl I used to employ. She came up and congratulated me and then said 'you no longer have the pain in your eyes'

Oh we twinkle like stars!

Does HRT really affect eye color? I adore my nice dark chocolate eyes.  :(

My eyes have definitely changed albeit only slightly :)
They used to be really dark brown but now they're almost closer to green. Super happy with it XD

That's pretty cool. Do any of you that have noticed a difference remember if you had differently colored eyes as a child?

I used to have blue eyes and blonde hair, and as I aged my hair turned brown and my eyes turned gray/blue/green/something. After reading this thread I'm wondering if HRT would change any of that.

Yes, indeed !

My skin was lighter as a child, and my hair was dinner and straight and light brown, and my eyes were hazel greenish.

Then, the evil testosterone change my eyes to light brown, my hair to wavy dark brown, and my skin thickened and become much darker...

So, now in my righteous adolescenss  (LOL) the good estrogen has revert things where they should be!

Just for the record, I'm Intersex(PAIS).
I was born with Albinism, so I lack pigmentation in my hair, eyes, and skin.  I also have a few different eye problems.

Ert, has changed my eyes in ways I never thought possible.

Before ert, my eyes where light blue.  Now there a bit darker blue.

I also suffer from Photophobia, due to the lack of pigment in my irises.  Since starting ert, my eyes have been able to handle more light than before.

I also have Nystagmus, or the random movement of my eyes.  With Albinism, we usually have it the worst but our brains learn to adapt very early in life.  Now I still have it, but it has subsided a lot.

I also never had steriioptic vision growing up.  So I never understood 3D, even in life.  Now I have some steriooptic vision.  That one can be difficult sometimes for NY brain to process.

I'm not on HRT (pre-T FtM) BUT my eye colour regularly changes anyway. God knows what it'll do when I'm on HRT

So HRT changes eye pigment for some people? Or does eye colour change slightly over time anyway? Nobody ever mentioned theirs changing that I know.

Mine are dark blue, with a small ring of green in the center. Central heterochromia, because there is no mixing of the colors. They've never changed my whole life. My mother's eyes were the same blue, my father's were green. Makes sense - those two were like oil and water lol. But it doesn't look to have changed at all on T. Maybe T doesn't do anything in that regard.

E definitely darkened my hair in the past.

If I remember right  eye changes were listed as a side effect. It can change the curvature shape a little and it's probably that that is creating the appearance / color change.

If it changes ocular shape or the lens that's interesting.... I wonder if anyone found their eyesight improved or got worse or anything?

If it really does change eye color I wonder if that's only MtF or FtM as well?

HRT 5 months. My eyes are blue and I was also surprised to here a couple people say that my eyes look warmer and the blue is a little richer and deeper. Actually over the last month I look in the mirror and I see girls eyes looking back.

Thank god! I don't know what I would do with my eyes. They're my best feature.
