Kids wont know what thier gender is? = (ill have no wepons to use in shaping my child for the social roll i want them to be, and besides i wont know what to buy)
Its the exsistance of those labels that do a lot more to confuse a child. In todays society we have this thing called the house husband? so whats is wrong with allowing a young boy to push chairs around and play feed the baby? mayne the house husband is the child that could never aka was never aloowed to do those things as a child?
Not only that, in a world where PINK is for girls, boys that have pink as their favourite color QUESTION themselves. eg Does liking pink make me a girl? No of course not. But thats the situation caused by gender spacific toys? I wonna play with dollies, but dolls are for girls?. I mean are those types of toys not created to "taylor" perspective girls towards a gender norm roll in later life, because we all know its the women that stay at home and look after children right? So what possible reason would a future house husband have for playing with dolls?
I saw mention of Girls bricks and boys bricks wtf??? Bricks are just bricks and are for kids that like bricks. Sure yes I can understand how those grown ups that justify their gender by what toys they played with as a child might start questining themselves, or become fearfull at the prospect at having to find another gender validating exsperience.
I mean YEAH i struggle buying toys at times, but not because of any gender related reasons. Its more due to not knowing the child enough. And its better to develop the if all ells fails techniques, gets things they can all share

assorted games like snakes and ladders and mouse trap (or modern equivalents). Or be a little more daring and get craftsy things, (its age not gender thats important here)
People should let their childrens personality decide the toys. I got my niece a football why? because she wanted to play football and her brothers didnt let her join in with them. she also liked "pepper pig" so i got some transfer kits and plastered it with pepper. Cost me more to do the transfers, but she loved it. (she cried when the transfers wore off bless her)
