Been doing better since being diagnosed with Lupus last month.I am keeping a positive spirit and attitude about it.Keep it under control very well taking the medication and stay active.A few things I do are work out twice a week and go out for an hour jog before I leave for work.I do get my downs and my wife comforts me very well.My mom and an aunt of mine have been a great help too,they have Lupus also and have a good life also keeping theirs under control.The specialist I see is amazed how I am doing and see him on the 17th of this month.This disease hit my family again,my twin sister Taylor has it now.She was diagnosed with this last week Thursday.Knew she was at risk of getting Lupus also since it runs in the family.My kids know I have it now and were pretty good about it when I told them.My 16 year old asked me if Lupus is contagious and told her no it is not.

Learning about Lupus more too and my wife has been great about it too.Supports me very well and knows I take the medication.My wife has her medical problems too,RA in both of her hands and take medication for it.
