hi it has been a while since i posted here. i am currently 1 week into hrt but i have nagging feeling. i am very self concious about my face i always have been. so i am looking for some advice on feminizing it. like maybe make up tips or some sort of excercise or anything because i feel very ugly. i am also wondering how long hrt usually takes for the feminizing effects to become noticeable. i know it is ymmv but just wondering on an average or something.

Give it a year at least. I promise you'll barely recognise yourself. HRT is slowwwww. Give it time. You look young, you'll do really well.

Im 3 months into HRT and I honestly looked a lot like you before starting. I have been dieting as well. I think you should check some of the before and after pics in the MtF transsexual forums you will find a lot of lovelies that look so different. (Mines in there on one of the latter pages, seriously we look a lot alike) I feel like HRT is going to look great on you, you already have soft features and look so young!

It's a pretty rare individual, trans or not, who isn't self conscious about their face.

And yeah, HRT takes a good year or two to really make a difference, so give it time.

Thanks, honestly that was a horrible picture of myself and i took it down. I was freaking out looking at it on my phone last night, so much so that i panicked and had to ask for help lol. I am a very self conscious person though.

Does hrt change the fat face? does anyone have any diets or exercises for that? I do cardio almost every day.

There are some terrific apps for tracking your daily caloric intake and exercise.

I remember being in your shoes when I first started transitioning. It takes patience, time and HRT to work on your face to let go a bit of your self consciousness. I still have it, I am just used to being who I am out in public.

Surround yourself with amazing friends and people that support you 100% it helps a lot.
