Hello all,

Do hormones effect how a person feel? I have been wondering about this because I feel better on hormones. Is this in my head you know feeling better just by being on hormone or do they change your mental state. I have made a lot changes in since taking them. Before I was pretty much at rock bottom. I'm worried about this because I may have to go off them for while to do things the right way. I'm  horribly emotional person even not on hormones and I'm afraid that I might to slip back in to a paralyzing depression that I was in for a for long while.

See you later and thanks for any input.

This is how it seems to me to work: Hormones affect body chemistry, body chemistry effects brain chemistry, brain chemistry effects how one feels.

I would say yes in a way but I think that it is mostly an individual experience for everyone how they make them feel. I started Spiro 5 days ago and just started an estrogen and a progestin a day ago and I feel mostly drained, good, but very tired.

I hope that answers your question. ;)
