I bought a box of these yesterday, and I've been nervous to try them. I'm interested in waxing, because full body laser is lower priority, but I still like to be smooth. Anyone tried them before? Do they work well? And did you follow the recommendation about a test area, or did you jump right in? Also, since I'm apparently turning into a detective character in a noir movie: Where were you on the night of the 19th?

they won't hurt you if you them correctly (not the face) other than a little redness/irritation for a few hours. I use them and although it is not as good as having it professionally done, it helps me keep my arm hair under control.

Although I haven't used Veet wax strips before, I have used wax strips.  The main thing is really to try a test spot and wait a couple of days to see if any irritation occurs.  The wax strips I used were ok, but I just didn't like it.  If you clean your skin and keep it clean, it should be just fine.
