Hi i'm Ella and I just wanna say hi to everyone. I'm new here on the website and I hope we can all get along. I began to identify and come to terms with in the past few months or so as a transgender woman mtf. I figured since I'm gonna start taking the plunge and getting started soon means I need to get a support community if only to learn from others who have already gone through what I'm about to go through. As of right now a grand total of two people other then my therapist know that I'm trans and both are excepting so far. I am hoping to begin living as a woman full time real soon but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on things I should buy before I do so other then the obvious like girl clothes, shoes and makeup. Is there anything I'm gonna end up needing that I wouldn't think of off the top of my head.
Hihi its nice to meet you

Hi Ella, welcome to Susan's.
I'm pretty new to the transitioning journey too. Not sure about stuff to buy but I started with a good facial cleanser and moisturiser, you have to take good care of your skin. My other must have was laser hair removal for my face and a trimmer for body hair, that's just me though.

I wish you the best for your transition and hope you enjoy your time with us.

Hugs,
Bobbi

Welcome to Susan's Place. I agree that hair removal is something you should have been doing yesterday. Most of the time you need three days growth before your appointment and it's impossible to hide that with makeup. I started long enough before I was forced early into full time that growing out the length I needed was no longer a problem. I looked a little unkept but the hair wasn't dense enough to be a problem passing. The other advantage is it feels so good not needing to shave before putting your face on.

Thanks so much everyone for the warm welcome. I am naturally mostly hairless in my upper body it was more my legs I was worried about but I am definately going to start saving for laser hair removal. I live by a laser hair removal place that regularly offers discounts so I'm going to look into that.
