The fact that this sort of egregious gatekeeping exists is our own fault. If we united in protest against cisgender doctors telling us what is good for us or creating arbitrary tests for us, it would end quickly. But whenever I post something like this, I get an avalanche of replies about how the cisgender gatekeepers know best, they're doing it in our best interest, keeping us from doing something we'll regret, etc. When is our community going to wake up?

GICs are not fit for purpose if you ask me.
