First, I'm sorry you've had this experience. It sounds like you have a good PCP though - have you considered asking him to administer and monitor your hormones? My PCP does for me and I like being able to get all of my healthcare related stuff done in one go. It's not required to go to an endo for this stuff.

It's kind of a big red flag for me that an endo is performing or claiming to perform bottom surgery. By my understanding, they rarely even perform surgery when it's directly related to their field (like on the thyroid or something). They typically work with a general surgeon to do those things. And even if that's the setup and he's just the go-between, the skill set between a general surgeon and the surgeons who routinely perform bottom surgery is SO vastly different that I'd absolutely advise against considering this.
