Hi everyone

I wonder if anyone would be interested to hear the results now 3 months after the Wendler glottoplasty done by Prof. Remacle?

Wonderful clip and congrats on your surgery!  On a side note, I see that you play the harmonica very well!  Did you notice any differences playing it after surgery in terms of breath control?

Thank you Kwala for your compliments on my music and this clip. I'm still waiting for my voice to heal completely and waiting the 1 year needed for a full recovery, I won't sing till this passed year, even I crave to sing ...for the moments I only have 6 notes I can play with and my head voice is still not back
As for the breathing I've noticed NO DIFFERENCES from before and after, even my vibrato is the same

Hi

For some reason I cannot see a clip - just blank space. Weird. Well... I hope the best for you to get your head voice back soon, so you can try singing...

I want a mic like that, lol.

Sounding good

I'm a professional musician I need good stuff this mic is not really expensive 400 euros, it's the "Bluebird" by Blue Microphone

What is "sounding good" ? The mic or my voice ? Can you elaborate ?

You are.

The lower pitches which plagued your voice seem to be all gone now. That to me is one of the more important things over just a plain old pitch increase.

Thank you and the old voice I've used as a reference was the controlled voice, I couldn't come to term to use the monster I had for this video, it's too stressful

I just can't wait the healing being complete

What an amazing change. It is quite extraordinary to see and hear the difference in YOU. You exude a confidence that totally works as well. Yes, you are complete aren't you?

Cindi thank you very much for the feedback and I tell you straight away you can't be more right ...since the beginning of  puberty I was dreaming being just able to speak freely, 35 years of hating the sounds that came out of my mouth, and I'm not talking about the classic " I hate my voice" thing, it has gotten much worse 14 years ago when I transitioned ...Now even if I'm early in the recovery I can speak freely and not being scared of this voice ....you're 100 % percent I'm complete now COMPLETE

I don't understand why women here are not reacting more to this thread

Is it boring ? Is my result after 3 months is not enough to impress you?

I think many potential viewers are missing out seeing the nice video, Christelle; the embedding-restriction, means viewers on Susans have to click 'reply' to your post, before they can see any link to see your youtube clip in the first reply of the thread.

I'm on a Mac so I don't have any problems seeing the video.

But to answer your question, we have many members who just lurk. It depends on when you post stuff like this too. Traffic on the site fluctuates.

I had to watch it again!

I think it's because after Jenny's Yeson thread anything about voice surgery is all old hat. Don't take it personal. The Yeson 2.0 thread is lagging too.

Its what I said in the thread on why there is more talk about surgery than therapy recently - after a while people realize that surgery is an option, they heard many post op results after weeks or a few months and it is not much news anymore that there are big changes achievable by it, but eventually interest in it dies off. This is why I think more threads on voice therapy and training will come up again in relation.

What may be interesting eventualls is to see what happens to the surgical results after 1,2 or 5 years - long term - I believe if anyo fthose who had it will be around that long, this could spur more threads on this again.

But especially about Remarcle and maybe still also Dr Haben, some medium-term results will also be interesting for those who do not want to go to Yeson. Yeson is already quite well documented, the other two are not yet so well documented in the mid-term range (6-9 months).

I think I will also just really put updates on my results from Yeson at the 12 (or maybe the 9) month mark, because there is already so much said about it in the time before that mark.
