So back before I had my kid i was 125ish lbs and a 34C.  Post kid, I am 180 and a 40DD......so needless to say my binder doesn't fit anymore. And due to the fact that I am a full time student, over 18 and a single parent with no income...I can't afford a new binder.

So I was wondering if anyone has let out a binder to make it fit better? I currently own the underworks 997.  I was considering adding in an extra panel of elastic to one side and a zipper to the other??

Call me Ray

I haven't let one out, but am having surgery soon and can send you mine in a couple weeks if you'd like. It sounds like it should fit and if not, it may work until you can get one. If you're interested let me know.

I haven't tried it, but my only advice would be that if binding is important to you, I'd wait to do it until you have another one. Just in case it doesn't work out for you.

Google FTM Garage Sale. Lots of people donate or sell for a very low price post-op.

I haven't done it but I'm sure that would work. keeping in mind that its so hard to find that same kind of elastic panel, you may wa nt to go with like neoprene or a thicker fabric. If you dont have a surger just use zigzag stitch :)
