I am a CD from the Albany, NY area and I am looking for places that are CD friendly for clothes shopping and to get my make up done. I have gone to some of the thrift stores, and found the New Beginnings shop in East Greenbush to be super supportive and helpful. Other than that, most of my stuff has come off of Craigslist, but some people are very sketchy when they find out they are selling women's clothes to a guy. Those that are selling shoes seem to be a little more open and non judging about selling the shoes to a man, especially if those shoes are very high heels.

I have not been able to find a place or person to do my make up yet, but I keep looking.

Any help or suggestions that anyone has will be greatly appreciated.

I'm on the west coast so not sure if this applies... but I've bought shoes at Payless Shoes and they have up to size 13 and they aren't all high heel and stripper like (my only contention with the larger size heels I've found online is they are too high and not comfy).

Other than that I hope you find some places there hon.  I've been to Albany and it seems like a nice place hopefully some local girls can help out!
