Okay so I had an extremely weird pain like a cramping in pretty much all of my middle body and I basically assumed it to be kind of like being on a period or something although I have no idea what that is like. All I know is I have never felt that pain in my entire life and its gone now.. Does anyone know what it might have been?

I don't think you are on hormones so a period isn't likely. I have had intentional gas that was so bad it doubled me over but after a short time the gas passed and the pain was going. If it's lasting, it could indicate a problem with your appendix that would require treatment as soon as possible.

I don't know. But I doubt its something major.. Just know it only lasted one day.

Are you taking spiro? That can cause cramps if you don't hydrate properly. Regardless, if it comes back go see your doctor.

Possibly extreme constipation.  I had what I thought was appendicitis a few weeks ago.  A constant, non-fluctuating, un-moving pain in my lower right abdomen.  It lasted for about 5 hours and then I was able to get to sleep.  It didn't hurt in the morning, but my muscles were sore from the cramping it caused for about a week after.  I never figured out exactly what it was, but I think it might have been constipation, heh.

It isn't constipation and I am currently on no medication whatsoever.

Well maybe some kind of tense muscles, or from some kind of stiff posture ?

Did it get better after lying down on an even surface, like a bed ?
Or after regular and even breathing ?

Sadephanie

Its worth mentioning it didn't hurt 100% of the time and laying down made no difference either.

Hm well if its some kind of tension a bath might help relax....
  •

Sadephanie

It was only hurting during that one day. It was just a really weird pain I'd never felt before.
  •

Laura_7

I'd attribute it to some kind of tension... well you say its over now...
as said a bath might help...

and maybe some kind of break... having a cup of tea and consciously relaxing...

its good its over now  :)

Sade.
Whoa! After reading your other thread, you need treatment pronto! Cramping of the midsection could be anything! I had gastritis only once that caused doubled-over pain and cramping. Just only one of the many things that could cause that. It could be just nerves. Your restricted background is no help here. If that cramping occurs again, try to seek help.

I probably won't be able to get help but I will remember that.

I will not be active for next few days.

If the pain is too much, please go see your doctor like everyone else says. That is very important.

I am a kickboxing instructor and I can get cramps in my abs when I am not hydrated. This usually happens to me right after class. Feels like someone is striking my stomach in lines. feel like a super fast pain it hurts lots and goes away right away as well. If that is what you are feeling it is most likely means you need more water.

If this continues for long period of time please bring it up to your doctors attention.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do.
