"ROCKMART, Ga. (FOX 5) – Police said Monday that they arrested a woman wanted in four states for a check-writing scam.  Investigators had to sort out some confusion about the woman's true identity because the woman by the name of Hassani Norword, used to be a man named Stefon Thomas"

Ya got to give her this, if your going to steal, steal big:
"wanted in four states, for crimes costing stores hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Investigators said Norwood had thousands of legitimate checking account numbers from Wachovia Bank customers."

But, if you wanted to go real casual in the post 9-11 world, I would ditch the name change to "Hassani" and go with something like, oh, say, "Betty."
