So, while talking to Ameilia Pond this morning, we were discussing the little things in life that make it fun. While we were talking it occurred to me that a recurring theme in many of the areas is "Male Privilege". What I never heard of is "Feminine Privilege": not about cis-female biology. This is more social privilege. I believe it's a real thing...

Mussed up hair being cute, or adorable. Comfy jammies as an outfit... fuzzy slippers (oh so comfortable)! the outfits, the accessories, the wide world of styles...  The ability to be openly giddy, or smoldering sexy pot... to make the first and final call on relationships. To be the object of desire; placed on the pedi stool of courtly love. To drive the "cute" cars. The sheer range of options in daily life should be noted.

I know these things are pretty superficial, and I apologize for that. My brain is running all over the place. However, I'm sure everyone here has a few pearls to fill out this post. What is your favorite part of the "Feminine Privilege"? I would have to say mine is the level of fun and giddiness I can express freely in public, and be socially acceptable.

Oh yes, I would readily agree that there are privileges accorded women in many cultures.  Rights or just advantages that are typically expected or implied.

We who have so long identified with and as women may be looking with longing through rose tinted glasses however.  Women in modern western countries have seemingly more choice about clothing and reproduction, from where I sit, but it also comes with over emphasis on appearance and youth perhaps?

I have longed for the ready intimacy that women experience without judgement; holding hands and simply sharing close space.  Is that privilege?
