In 2004 I was followed-around by a documentary crew, interviewed, and they also went to Montreal with me for my surgery at Dr. Brassard's. This is the first half of a two-part show in which I was featured. The show aired every few months from 2005 until about 2009 when it stopped being shown. At the time it was hailed as an excellent show and I think it still is a very good one. I have not been able to find it anywhere online, but had my own copy which I uploaded to my Facebook page to share with friends, family and those who are dealing with being trans. My hope being to help educate as much as possible as well as to show others like myself that, though this can be a very tough journey, it can be done. The main lesson I learned was that patience is paramount. Don't rush into things. Take each step one at a time and you will find the peace of mind and body that you seek.

Feel free to friend me on FB if you want. I have a ton of trans friends there. Great for networking! =)

Wow, I remember I saw this when it was shown in TV. It helped me a lot at the time. Thank you and anybody else who contributed to this documentary.

The video freezes for me at 13:26 but the audio continues. Is that happening for anyone else?

No problems here, I watched the whole video without problems.

I watched a bit of it, it looks good.

Maybe I'll grab some popcorn later and watch the whole thing, as you and I have similar experiences pre-transition being married to women and having (a) child(ren).

Its possible bandwidth is not sufficient.
It might be possible to choose a lower video quality.
Or it might be possible to reload the page, put the slider to 13 min, press stop and wait one or two minutes... then press play...

I managed to watch it in Chrome. It only had the problem in my Firefox.

It's a nice documentary, thanks for sharing Annah.  :)
