Since I've rediscovered myself as bisexual, I'm slowly come to like "both" sexes about the same. However, I'm noticing they give me different kinds of feels. I guess that's something obvious, but I never thought of it until just now. The feelings aren't as drastic as say, testosterone vs. estrogen, but they're distinctly different feelings. And I like them both much. 🙂

Bi here, yes in my experience there are different "feels" and desires for each sex, based on what one anticipates is possible or likely.

Our sexuality can be very simple and so deeply complex too.  A "hook up" situation may be all about getting off but a relationship of any depth will reveal much more.  While I have long identified as Bi the term implies the binary duality of male or female and is one reason that pansexual may be a preferred descriptor for some?

So much about sexuality deals with our expectations and I couldn't really live up to my former appearance as a man.  I have met so many people that just don't respond as their looks might imply.  Some apparently head strong, aggressive men can become real pussy cats between the sheets and the reverse is equally true in my experience.

I guess this is why the dance of dating is so valuable.  Getting to know you can be such a lovely experience.

I agree that the term bisexual is limiting, but it's what I feel fits. Maybe someday I'll feel suited to call myself pan, but I'm not there yet.

Come to think of it, Tinkerbell and Wendy are Pan-sexual...

LOL, your self identification is entirely respected and my comments not meant to get into the politically correct jungle.  It is what you feel that counts and i personally love fairies of all kinds.  I think many trans people are in the unique position of having experienced love within very different contexts.  Our wealth of knowledge can and should be shared without judgement.

I'm bi and yes I totally agree. I tend to be more interested in cute guys then the big tough guys. But when I'm attracted to a guy, it is different then to a girl. it's really hard to put into words.

Yep sexual attraction can and often dose feel different. Some people believe that there are many more bisexual people out there than realize it because they are used to how they feel attraction to one gender but because things are different with the other they have trouble recognizing it.

I'm following you here as well! For me it's that I really enjoy the sexual side of men but can't really see myself dating them. For women I find that I am much more attached emotionally, and envious of them psychically.

I identify as bi and totally agree. For me personally it has a lot to do with stereotypical gender roles. It's hard to explain without sounding shallow, but sometimes a girl wants to be submissive and I find that it's easier when I've been with men.
