Well to start off, I am getting my first shot tomorrow! I'm extremely nervous but very excited :) I was curious as to what changes everyone has gone through in the first week?

Congrats! My first week I mostly noticed more energy and maybe some downstairs tingling. My moods evened out fairly quickly, but I don't remember if it was the first week or not.

Congrats, man! I hope things go well for you! First week for me was most noticeable in that I started waking up earlier. Like, considerably so--not going to bed earlier or getting out of bed in the morning earlier, exactly, but I  pretty consistently started waking up before my alarms went off. I casually daydreamed about doin' the do a lot more (usually in that time between waking up and alarm telling me to go off), as well. Hunger spikes are pretty common, energy spikes are pretty common. I have a mood disorder and my mood "ranking" shifted around a bit--what pre-T would've been a 3-4 out of 5 on the depression scale was ranked at 2.5, which was interesting.

Congratulations!  :) I've only been on T for a few weeks so I have a pretty good memory of the first week.  I started feeling pretty sluggish and tired for the first few days but then that went away and now I can actually do fine on less sleep.  My throat felt scratchy like that feeling when you're getting a cold,  the day after my shot.  No voice drop of course but I think my vocal cords were noticing that change will happen in the foreseeable future [emoji14] oh and my appetite changed dramatically, I wasn't always hungry but when I was hungry I was starving.

Best of luck ,  and enjoy the beginning of your medical transition

Congratulations! I think the changes vary from person to person. For me, I actually didn't feel much during the first week, except my leg was sore the day after the injection. About three weeks in, one of the first changes I noticed was I felt hungry all the time and my voice started to crack.

ha ha, mostly a libido boost and feeling like I hardly needed any coffee that week!  I was pretty busy and productive with all the extra energy my first few months.  I have... lazied out substantially but still notice more energy after a shot :)
You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.

Congratulations! I hope things went well for you. Sometimes you get a little sore the first few times, but it goes away.
It may take a little time, but when you start to see the secondary sex characteristics starting, you will feel euphoria greater than you ever have before. Just don't expect to walk by a pretty girl and not obsess over her!
