Hi,
I'm new, and excited to be part of the family here.
I'm  pre-op, transgender female who id's as bisexual.
I'm 55 years old and known since I was very little that I was assigned female at birth, but lived my who life as a heterosexual man. I know I have long road ahead, and many struggles to deal with as I procede.
I'm very happy with my body as-is, I do not feel the need to ever explore SRS, except if I meet a great man who wanted me to change. I'm presently on TRT therapy ( seems kinda against normal procedure), but have a very physical job which requires me to be strong. My T levels were very low, and effecting my health.
Because of my "day" job/life, it would be detrimental to my existence to transition fully to female. I most likely would not survive. I presently spend private time being fem/girly, and have a gay friend who I'm able to have sex with occasionally. He is OK with my femine desires and crossdressing, etc.
I have many questions to ask... If there is any advise you can give me please do. I look forward to asking for more advise, and gleaning good thoughts off other posts.

Welcome to Susan's Place. My advice to you is you have come to the right place. You could fit into the cross dressing family or the non binary as both groups have optional surgical desires. You will find a form for both so join in the conversations that you feel comfortable with. Should you have additional questions, feel free to post them on this tread or in the thread that you feel comfortable with. Also feel free to explore the other threads because the post may be areas you wish to explore or may be useful at a latter as your life changes.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Warm welcome to Susan's Chrissy

We're excited to have you with us too  ;D

Many of us know and have harboured or hid our emotional connections to the opposite gender, certainly I have and hid my female side from wife and family, because as a kid I had to learn how to behave masculine... was hard as I am sure you know. But then you have your moments through out life, always managing to control, then one day... Bang! not manageable anymore!

Many of us hold back because of our fears to become who we are, certainly I have done that for 50 odd years to date, but it has to change, I too am hooked on work, luckily in IT, although I have felt its only been compatible to us over the last 10 years or so. I will transition at work earlier next year once, you have to prove yourself and get your big wins...

I am glad you have a partner and that it works well for you. I wish you well moving forward and look forward to seeing you around the forum's.
